John, as the father of the bride, attended Pamela Jean Snodgrass and Richard Lawrence Aronoff's wedding February 12, 1984 in San Francisco, CA. Among his many military awards and medals were the Combat Infantry Badge, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star with Two Oak Leaf Clusters, the Command at Sea Star, and the Distinguished Flying Cross.
