8. Meyer⁴ Kalischer (Moses³, R. Salomon², Mausche "Moses I"¹) was born in Thorn, Prussia January 12, 1832. Meyer died October 12, 1912 in Berlin, Germany, at age 80.

He married Amalie Neufeld date unknown. Amalie was born November 15, 1837 in Posen, Prussia. Amalie died September 25, 1903 in Posen, Prussia, at age 65. When Amalie was age 22 and Meyer Kalischer was age 28 they became the parents of Nathan Kalischer January 19, 1860 in Berlin, Germany. When Amalie was age 24 and Meyer Kalischer was age 30 they became the parents of Johanna Kalischer February 25, 1862. When Amalie was age 26 and Meyer Kalischer was age 32 they became the parents of Sigmond Kalischer May 17, 1864 in Breslow, Germany. When Amalie was age 28 and Meyer Kalischer was age 34 they became the parents of Rahel Kalischer June 1, 1866. When Amalie was age 30 and Meyer Kalischer was age 36 they became the parents of Max Moses Kalischer March 4, 1868. When Amalie was age 40 and Meyer Kalischer was age 46 they became the parents of Rosa Kalischer June 2, 1878.

When Meyer was age 28 and Amalie Neufeld was age 22 they became the parents of Nathan Kalischer January 19, 1860 in Berlin, Germany. When Meyer was age 30 and Amalie Neufeld was age 24 they became the parents of Johanna Kalischer February 25, 1862. When Meyer was age 32 and Amalie Neufeld was age 26 they became the parents of Sigmond Kalischer May 17, 1864 in Breslow, Germany. When Meyer was age 34 and Amalie Neufeld was age 28 they became the parents of Rahel Kalischer June 1, 1866. When Meyer was age 36 and Amalie Neufeld was age 30 they became the parents of Max Moses Kalischer March 4, 1868. When Meyer was age 46 and Amalie Neufeld was age 40 they became the parents of Rosa Kalischer June 2, 1878.

Meyer Kalischer and Amalie Neufeld had the following children:

+ 15 i. Nathan⁵ Kalischer was born January 19, 1860.

16 ii. Johanna Kalischer was born February 25, 1862. Johanna died June 6, 1929 at age 67. She married Hermann Hirsch date unknown. Hermann was born November 11, 1859.

+ 17 iii. Sigmond Kalischer was born May 17, 1864.

18 iv. Rahel Kalischer was born June 1, 1866. Rahel died 1941/1945 in Germany, at age 76.

19 v. Max Moses Kalischer was born March 4, 1868. Max died date unknown at age unknown. He married Marta Sachs date unknown. Marta was born July 31, 1871 in Halle.

Max immigrated to destination unknown circa 1882.

20 vi. Rosa Kalischer was born June 2, 1878. Rosa died 1941/1945 in Germany, at age 64.
