He married twice. He married Ida date unknown. Ida was born date unknown. Ida died date unknown at age unknown. He married Nettie Epstein 1909. Nettie was born 1887 in Sislevitch, Poland. Nettie was the daughter of Moshe (Zacuto) Epstein and Augusta Schrentz. Nettie died 1981 in Los Angeles, CA, at age 94. When Nettie was age 22 and Joseph Wineman was age 26 they became the parents of Jeanette Wineman April 15, 1910 in Detroit, MI. When Nettie was age 25 and Joseph Wineman was age 29 they became the parents of Florence Wineman February 2, 1913 in Detroit, MI.

When Joseph was age 26 and Nettie Epstein was age 22 they became the parents of Jeanette Wineman April 15, 1910 in Detroit, MI. When Joseph was age 29 and Nettie Epstein was age 25 they became the parents of Florence Wineman February 2, 1913 in Detroit, MI.

Joseph Wineman and Nettie Epstein had the following children:

14 i. Jeanette⁴ Wineman was born in Detroit, MI April 15, 1910. Jeanette died February 15, 2001 in Thousand Oaks, CA, at age 90. She married Louis Katz Cranston August 23, 1935 in Memphis, TN. Louis was born October 8, 1908 in Budapest, Hungary. Louis was the son of Joseph Katz and Melvina. Louis died September 8, 1998 in Los Angeles, CA, at age 89. When Louis was age 29 and Jeanette Wineman was age 27 they became the parents of Joan Barbara Katz Cranston March 11, 1938 in Detroit, MI. When Louis was age 38 and Jeanette Wineman was age 36 they became the parents of Marilyn Gail Cranston November 11, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA. When Jeanette was age 27 and Louis Katz Cranston was age 29 they became the parents of Joan Barbara Katz Cranston March 11, 1938 in Detroit, MI. When Jeanette was age 36 and Louis Katz Cranston was age 38 they became the parents of Marilyn Gail Cranston November 11, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA.

15 ii. Florence Wineman was born in Detroit, MI February 2, 1913. Florence died July 8, 2006 in Southfield, MI, at age 93. When Florence was age 28 and Victor Lavetter was age 30 they became the parents of Carol Renee Lavetter September 19, 1941 in Detroit, MI. When Florence was age 32 and Victor Lavetter was age 34 they became the parents of Mark Stuart Lavetter March 20, 1945 in Detroit, MI.
