Emil died August 29, 1978 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH, at age 90. His body was interred July 10, 1980 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH, Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. When Emil was age 31 and Pearl "Jane" Boyle was age 19 they became the parents of Richard Ellis Marks April 1, 1919 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH.
