1. Moses¹ Grubb was born in Delaware August 17, 1804.

He married Sarah Ann Lonas September 8, 1850. Sarah was born August 15, 1812 in Fairfield Richland Rushville, OH. Sarah was the daughter of Jacob Newton Lonas Sr. and Elizabeth Drum. Sarah died July 18, 1899 in Jackson Township, Allen County, OH, at age 86. When Sarah was age 33 and Samuel Snider was age unknown they became the parents of Delilah Ann Snider July 22, 1846 in Perry, Fairfield County, OH. When Sarah was age 39 and Moses Grubb was age 47 they became the parents of Albert Grubb September 11, 1851. When Sarah was age 41 and Moses Grubb was age 49 they became the parents of Samantha Grubb December 19, 1853. When Sarah was age 44 and Moses Grubb was age 52 they became the parents of Sarah Elisabeth Grubb October 17, 1856 in Lima, OH.

When Moses was age 47 and Sarah Ann Lonas was age 39 they became the parents of Albert Grubb September 11, 1851. When Moses was age 49 and Sarah Ann Lonas was age 41 they became the parents of Samantha Grubb December 19, 1853. When Moses was age 52 and Sarah Ann Lonas was age 44 they became the parents of Sarah Elisabeth Grubb October 17, 1856 in Lima, OH.

Moses Grubb and Sarah Ann Lonas had the following children:

2 i. Albert² Grubb was born September 11, 1851.

3 ii. Samantha Grubb was born December 19, 1853. She married Ward date unknown.

4 iii. Sarah Elisabeth Grubb was born in Lima, OH October 17, 1856. Sarah died 1923 at age 66. Her body was interred 1923 in Toledo, OH, Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. She married Max Lowenthal August 2, 1881. Max was born December 5, 1856. Max was the son of Bernard Lowenthal and mother. Max died 1935 at age 78. His body was interred 1935 in Toledo, OH, Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. When Max was age 25 and Sarah Elisabeth Grubb was age 26 they became the parents of Bertha Lowenthal November 6, 1882 in Paulding, OH. When Max was age 28 and Sarah Elisabeth Grubb was age 28 they became the parents of Harry Lowenthal September 7, 1885 in Paulding, OH. (See Max Lowenthal for the continuation of this line.)

When Sarah was age 26 and Max Lowenthal was age 25 they became the parents of Bertha Lowenthal November 6, 1882 in Paulding, OH. When Sarah was age 28 and Max Lowenthal was age 28 they became the parents of Harry Lowenthal September 7, 1885 in Paulding, OH.
