He married Harriet "Hattie" Hootkins 1898. Harriet was born June, 1879 in Great Rapids, MI. Harriet was the daughter of Shmuel "Samuel" Hootkins and Sarah Orwant. Harriet died 1957 in Clarksville, TN, at age 78. When Harriet was age 20 and Jessel Cohn was age 29 they became the parents of Juliet "Julia" Cohn April 10, 1900 in IL. When Harriet was age 22 and Jessel Cohn was age 30 they became the parents of Genevieve Lorraine Cohn August 31, 1901. When Harriet was age 24 and Jessel Cohn was age 32 they became the parents of Sydney Edward Cohn December 27, 1903 in Chicago, IL. When Harriet was age 25 and Jessel Cohn was age 34 they became the parents of Irving Lewis Cohn May 28, 1905 in Chicago, IL. When Harriet was age 33 and Jessel Cohn was age 41 they became the parents of Marvin Cohn Conn about August, 1912 in Chicago, IL.

When Jessel was age 29 and Harriet "Hattie" Hootkins was age 20 they became the parents of Juliet "Julia" Cohn April 10, 1900 in IL. When Jessel was age 30 and Harriet "Hattie" Hootkins was age 22 they became the parents of Genevieve Lorraine Cohn August 31, 1901. When Jessel was age 32 and Harriet "Hattie" Hootkins was age 24 they became the parents of Sydney Edward Cohn December 27, 1903 in Chicago, IL. When Jessel was age 34 and Harriet "Hattie" Hootkins was age 25 they became the parents of Irving Lewis Cohn May 28, 1905 in Chicago, IL. When Jessel was age 41 and Harriet "Hattie" Hootkins was age 33 they became the parents of Marvin Cohn Conn about August, 1912 in Chicago, IL.

7 i. Juliet "Julia"³ Cohn was born in IL April 10, 1900. Juliet died April, 1986 in Chicago, IL, at age 86. She married Benjamin Jacob "Jack" Cohn date unknown. When Benjamin was age unknown and Juliet "Julia" Cohn was age 27 they became the parents of Richard "Dick" Byron Cohn about May, 1927 in Chicago, IL. When Benjamin was age unknown and Juliet "Julia" Cohn was age 31 they became the parents of James Allen Cohn about October, 1931 in Chicago or Ann Arbor, MI. When Juliet was age 27 and Benjamin Jacob "Jack" Cohn was age unknown they became the parents of Richard "Dick" Byron Cohn about May, 1927 in Chicago, IL. When Juliet was age 31 and Benjamin Jacob "Jack" Cohn was age unknown they became the parents of James Allen Cohn about October, 1931 in Chicago or Ann Arbor, MI.

8 ii. Genevieve Lorraine Cohn was born August 31, 1901. Genevieve died July, 1980 at age 78. She married three times. She married Gerome Baer before 1925. She married Samuel M. Gofen 1928. When Samuel was age unknown and Genevieve Lorraine Cohn was age 30 they became the parents of William Harold Gofen October 22, 1931. (See Samuel M. Gofen for the continuation of this line.) She married Abe Elden after 1932. Abe was born April 4, 1897. Abe died August, 1976 at age 79.

When Genevieve was age 30 and Samuel M. Gofen was age unknown they became the parents of William Harold Gofen October 22, 1931.
