He married Marian Dorothy Roth about 1936 in Chicago, IL. Marian was born March 23, 1906 in Chicago, IL. Marian was the daughter of Otto A. "Papa" Roth and Giselle Deutsch. Marian died September 30, 1999 in Nashville, TN, at age 93. When Marian was age 32 and Sydney Edward Cohn was age 34 they became the parents of Gail Dorothy Cohn 1938 in Clarksville, TN.
