He married Bertha Eppstein 1899. Bertha was born August 6, 1873 in Chicago, IL. Bertha was the daughter of Charles Louis Eppstein and Johanna (Hannah Hanchen) Harold. Bertha died about 1941 at age unknown. When Bertha was age 34 and William Loewy was age 35 they became the parents of Joan Louise Loewy February 25, 1908 in Chicago, IL.

When William was age 35 and Bertha Eppstein was age 34 they became the parents of Joan Louise Loewy February 25, 1908 in Chicago, IL.

7 i. Joan Louise³ Loewy was born in Chicago, IL February 25, 1908. Joan died November 13, 2002 in San Antonio, TX, at age 94. She married Irving Lewis Cohn August 1, 1930 in Chicago, IL. Irving was born May 28, 1905 in Chicago, IL. Irving was the son of Jessel Cohn and Harriet "Hattie" Hootkins. Irving died November 26, 1991 in San Antonio, TX, at age 86. When Irving was age 27 and Joan Louise Loewy was age 24 they became the parents of Gerald "Gerry" Stanley Cohn October 25, 1932 in Bloomington, IL. When Irving was age 29 and Joan Louise Loewy was age 26 they became the parents of William Loewy Cohn December 9, 1934 in Joliet, IL. (See Irving Lewis Cohn for the continuation of this line.)

When Joan was age 24 and Irving Lewis Cohn was age 27 they became the parents of Gerald "Gerry" Stanley Cohn October 25, 1932 in Bloomington, IL. When Joan was age 26 and Irving Lewis Cohn was age 29 they became the parents of William Loewy Cohn December 9, 1934 in Joliet, IL. BA (French), UWis1929.
