He married Johanna (Hannah Hanchen) Harold date unknown. Johanna was born June, 1845 in Germany. When Johanna was age 28 and Charles Louis Eppstein was age 37 they became the parents of Bertha Eppstein August 6, 1873 in Chicago, IL. When Johanna was age 32 and Charles Louis Eppstein was age 41 they became the parents of Ida Eppstein September, 1877. When Johanna was age 34 and Charles Louis Eppstein was age 43 they became the parents of Nellie Eppstein September, 1879 in Chicago, IL. When Johanna was age 35 and Charles Louis Eppstein was age 45 they became the parents of Hattie Eppstein February, 1881 in Chicago, IL.

When Charles was age 37 and Johanna (Hannah Hanchen) Harold was age 28 they became the parents of Bertha Eppstein August 6, 1873 in Chicago, IL. When Charles was age 41 and Johanna (Hannah Hanchen) Harold was age 32 they became the parents of Ida Eppstein September, 1877. When Charles was age 43 and Johanna (Hannah Hanchen) Harold was age 34 they became the parents of Nellie Eppstein September, 1879 in Chicago, IL. When Charles was age 45 and Johanna (Hannah Hanchen) Harold was age 35 they became the parents of Hattie Eppstein February, 1881 in Chicago, IL.

Charles Louis Eppstein and Johanna (Hannah Hanchen) Harold had the following children:

5 iii. Bertha Eppstein was born in Chicago, IL August 6, 1873. Bertha died about 1941 at age unknown. She married William Loewy 1899. William was born May, 1872 in Austria or Bohemia, Czechoslova. William was the son of Loewy. William died about 1937 at age unknown. When William was age 35 and Bertha Eppstein was age 34 they became the parents of Joan Louise Loewy February 25, 1908 in Chicago, IL. (See William Loewy for the continuation of this line.)

When Bertha was age 34 and William Loewy was age 35 they became the parents of Joan Louise Loewy February 25, 1908 in Chicago, IL.

7 v. Nellie Eppstein was born in Chicago, IL September, 1879. She married Joseph Oppenheim date unknown.

8 vi. Hattie Eppstein was born in Chicago, IL February, 1881. She married Edward Bender date unknown.
