1. Samuel Walker¹ Booksh was born in LA July 4, 1853. Samuel died 1930 in LA, at age 76. His body was interred in New Orleans, LA, Girod Cemetery.

He married Arabella Maria Tisdale April 22, 1878 in LA. Arabella was born January 12, 1855 in New Orleans, LA. Arabella was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Tisdale and Eliza Helen Pratt. Arabella died March 30, 1934 in New Orleans, LA, at age 79. Her body was interred 1934 in New Orleans, LA, Girod Cemetery. When Arabella was age unknown and Samuel Walker Booksh was age unknown they became the parents of Mary Eliza Booksh about 1878 in LA. When Arabella was age 26 and Samuel Walker Booksh was age 27 they became the parents of Samuel Walker Booksh Jr. March 1881 in LA. When Arabella was age 28 and Samuel Walker Booksh was age 29 they became the parents of Charles Leonard Booksh January 1883 in LA. When Arabella was age 31 and Samuel Walker Booksh was age 32 they became the parents of Wilton Tisdale Booksh February 7, 1886 in Baton Rouge, LA. When Arabella was age 34 and Samuel Walker Booksh was age 36 they became the parents of Vera B. Booksh August 1889 in LA.

When Samuel was age unknown and Arabella Maria Tisdale was age unknown they became the parents of Mary Eliza Booksh about 1878 in LA. When Samuel was age 27 and Arabella Maria Tisdale was age 26 they became the parents of Samuel Walker Booksh Jr. March 1881 in LA. When Samuel was age 29 and Arabella Maria Tisdale was age 28 they became the parents of Charles Leonard Booksh January 1883 in LA. When Samuel was age 32 and Arabella Maria Tisdale was age 31 they became the parents of Wilton Tisdale Booksh February 7, 1886 in Baton Rouge, LA. When Samuel was age 36 and Arabella Maria Tisdale was age 34 they became the parents of Vera B. Booksh August 1889 in LA.

Samuel Walker Booksh and Arabella Maria Tisdale had the following children:
