He married Bethiah Thomas date unknown. Bethiah was born 1695 in Plymouth, MA. When Bethiah was age 32 and Jacob Chipman was age 36 they became the parents of Lucy Chipman October 3, 1727 in Halifax, MA.

When Jacob was age 36 and Bethiah Thomas was age 32 they became the parents of Lucy Chipman October 3, 1727 in Halifax, MA.

Jacob Chipman and Bethiah Thomas had the following child:

14 i. Lucy⁴ Chipman was born in Halifax, MA October 3, 1727. Lucy died February 12, 1795 in Cheboque, Nova Scotia, Canada, at age 67. She married George Ring Capt. April 14, 1747 Kingston, MA. George was born May 19, 1726 Kingston, MA. George was the son of Samuel Ring. George died January 13, 1776 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, at age 49. When George was age 33 and Lucy Chipman was age 31 they became the parents of George Ring II June 17, 1759 Kingston, MA. (See George Ring Capt. for the continuation of this line.)

When Lucy was age 31 and George Ring Capt. was age 33 they became the parents of George Ring II June 17, 1759 Kingston, MA.
