7. Tjerck Clauszen⁴ DeWitt (Nicholas Cornelius³, John², Capt. Jan¹) was born in Westphalia, Holland about 1634. Tjerck died February 17, 1700 in Kingston, NY, at age 65.

He married Barbara Andrieszen April 24, 1656 in New York. Barbara was born 1630 in Amsterdam, Holland. Barbara was the daughter of Andries Luycaszen and Jannetje Sebyns. Barbara died July 6, 1714 in Kingston, NY, at age 84. When Barbara was age 26 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 22 they became the parents of Andreas DeWitt 1656 in New York, Manhattan, NY. When Barbara was age 29 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 25 they became the parents of Taatje DeWitt 1659 in Kingston, NY. When Barbara was age 31 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 27 they became the parents of Janetje DeWitt February 12, 1662 in Kingston, NY. When Barbara was age 33 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 29 they became the parents of Klaes DeWitt February 17, 1664. When Barbara was age 35 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 31 they became the parents of Jan DeWitt February 14, 1666 in Kingston, NY. When Barbara was age 38 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 34 they became the parents of Geertruy DeWitt October 15, 1668 in Kingston, NY. When Barbara was age 40 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 36 they became the parents of Jacob DeWitt 1670 in Kingston, NY. When Barbara was age 42 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 38 they became the parents of Rachel DeWitt 1672. When Barbara was age 45 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 41 they became the parents of Lucas DeWitt 1675. When Barbara was age unknown and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age unknown they became the parents of Peek DeWitt about 1678 in Kingston, NY. When Barbara was age unknown and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age unknown they became the parents of Tjerck DeWitt about 1678. When Barbara was age 52 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 48 they became the parents of Marretje DeWitt 1682. When Barbara was age 53 and Tjerck Clauszen DeWitt was age 49 they became the parents of Aaghe DeWitt January 14, 1684.

Tjerck immigrated to destination unknown 1655. When Tjerck was age 22 and Barbara Andrieszen was age 26 they became the parents of Andreas DeWitt 1656 in New York, Manhattan, NY. When Tjerck was age 25 and Barbara Andrieszen was age 29 they became the parents of Taatje DeWitt 1659 in Kingston, NY. When Tjerck was age 27 and Barbara Andrieszen was age 31 they became the parents of Janetje DeWitt February 12, 1662 in Kingston, NY. When Tjerck was age 29 and Barbara Andrieszen was age 33 they became the parents of Klaes DeWitt February 17, 1664. 12 v. Jan DeWitt was born in Kingston, NY February 14, 1666. Jan died April 1715 at age 49. He married Wyntje Kierstead date unknown.

13 vi. Geertruy DeWitt was born in Kingston, NY October 15, 1668. Geertruy died before 1718 at age unknown. She married Henrick Schoomaker March 24, 1688.

14 vii. Jacob DeWitt was born in Kingston, NY 1670. He married Grietje Vernoy date unknown.

15 viii. Rachel DeWitt was born 1672. She married Cornelius Bogardus date unknown.

16 ix. Lucas DeWitt was born 1675. He married Annatje Delva December 12, 1695.

+ 17 x. Peek DeWitt was born about 1678.

18 xi. Tjerck DeWitt was born about 1678. Tjerck died December 2, 1762 at age 84. He married twice. He married Ann Pawling date unknown. He married Ariantje Decker August 8, 1719 in Kingston, Ulster County, NY.

19 xii. Marretje DeWitt was born 1682. She married Henrick Kortright date unknown.

20 xiii. Aaghe DeWitt was born January 14, 1684. She married Jan Pawling date unknown.
