1. Samuel¹ Herrick was born in Coventry, CT April 2, 1732. Samuel died about 1797 in Springfield, NY, at age unknown.

He married Silence Kingsley February 26, 1754 in Norwich, CT. Silence was born August 30, 1727 in Easton, MA. Silence was the daughter of Samuel Kingsley and Mary. When Silence was age 36 and Samuel Herrick was age 31 they became the parents of Sarah Herrick February 21, 1764.

When Samuel was age 31 and Silence Kingsley was age 36 they became the parents of Sarah Herrick February 21, 1764.

Samuel Herrick and Silence Kingsley had the following child:

2 i. Sarah² Herrick was born February 21, 1764. Sarah died about 1823 at age unknown. She married Nathaniel Butler date unknown. Nathaniel was born June 14, 1761 in Cumberland, RI. Nathaniel was the son of Benjamin Butler and Susanna Whiting. Nathaniel died September 29, 1829 at age 68. When Nathaniel was age 23 and Sarah Herrick was age 20 they became the parents of Samuel Herrick Butler February 12, 1785 in Bennington, VT. (See Nathaniel Butler for the continuation of this line.)
