2 i. Susanna² Lewis was born in Poughkeepsie, NY March 25, 1761. Susanna died July 27, 1822 in Saratoga, NY, at age 61. She married Gilbert James Livingston February 28, 1779 in Troy, NY. Gilbert was born October 14, 1758 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Gilbert was the son of James Livingston and Judith Newcomb. Gilbert died April 7, 1833 in Rome, NY, at age 74. When Gilbert was age 26 and Susanna Lewis was age 24 they became the parents of Judith Livingston September 4, 1785 in Poughkeepsie, NY.
