4. Obadiah Newcomb⁴ Bush (Timothy³, Timothy², Richard¹) was born January 28, 1797. Obadiah died about 1851 at age unknown.

He married Harriet Smith November 8, 1821 in Rochester, NY. Harriet was born May 12, 1800 in Cambridge, NY. Harriet was the daughter of Sanford Smith and Priscilla Whipple. Harriet died June 21, 1867 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, OH, at age 67. When Harriet was age 25 and Obadiah Newcomb Bush was age 28 they became the parents of James Smith Bush June 15, 1825 in Rochester, NY.

When Obadiah was age 28 and Harriet Smith was age 25 they became the parents of James Smith Bush June 15, 1825 in Rochester, NY.

Obadiah Newcomb Bush and Harriet Smith had the following child:
