He married Harriet Howard July 31, 1803 in Cambridge, MA. Harriet was born March 27, 1782 in Boston, Suffolk County, MA. Harriet was the daughter of Samuel Howard and Anna Lillie. Harriet died July 27, 1847 in Cambridge, MA, at age 65. When Harriet was age 22 and Samuel Prescott Phillips Fay was age 26 they became the parents of Samuel Howard Fay July 21, 1804 in Cambridge, MA.
