1. Mordecai "Max"¹ Solovich was born in Minsk, Byelorussia 1830. Mordecai died 1891 in Minsk, Byelorussia, at age 61.

He married Bessie Kantorovich 1851 in Minsk, Byelorussia. Bessie was born July 5, 1831 in Russia. Bessie was the daughter of William Kantorovich and Rosa Cohn. Bessie died April 4, 1904 in Detroit, MI, at age 72. Her body was interred April, 1904 in Detroit, MI, B'nai David Cemetery. When Bessie was age 26 and Mordecai "Max" Solovich was age 27 they became the parents of Abraham Solovich May, 1858 in Minsk, Russia. When Bessie was age 34 and Mordecai "Max" Solovich was age 35 they became the parents of Louis Solovich January 12, 1866.

When Mordecai was age 27 and Bessie Kantorovich was age 26 they became the parents of Abraham Solovich May, 1858 in Minsk, Russia. When Mordecai was age 35 and Bessie Kantorovich was age 34 they became the parents of Louis Solovich January 12, 1866. It is believed that the name Solovich used to be either Eschelevich or Yushalovich.

Mordecai "Max" Solovich and Bessie Kantorovich had the following children:

3 ii. Joseph Solovich was born on (birth date unknown).

5 iv. Solomon "Simon" Solovich was born on (birth date unknown).

+ 6 v. Abraham Solovich was born May, 1858.

+ 7 vi. Louis Solovich was born January 12, 1866.
