He married Margaret Coble March 2, 1924 in New York, NY. Margaret was born July 10, 1901 New Rochelle, NY. Margaret was the daughter of Robert Coble and Pauline Bloch. Margaret died May 21, 1987 in New Haven, CT, at age 85. When Margaret was age 27 and Miles Arthur Abelson was age 30 they became the parents of Robert Paul Abelson September 12, 1928.
