2 i. Matilda Woodrow "Woodie"² McDowell was born July 31, 1835. Matilda died November 6, 1890 at age 55. She married Dougal Campbell Tabb September 25, 1860. Dougal was born February 6, 1829. Dougal was the son of Bailey Tabb and Sarah Ann Campbell. Dougal died December 28, 1894 in Romney, Hampshire County, WV, at age 65. His body was interred December 1894 in Romney, WV, Indian Mound Cemetery. When Dougal was age 34 and Matilda Woodrow "Woodie" McDowell was age 27 they became the parents of Lelia Ormsbey Tabb February 22, 1863 in Romney, Hampshire County, VA. When Dougal was age 36 and Matilda Woodrow "Woodie" McDowell was age 29 they became the parents of Annie Glass Tabb April 7, 1865 in Oakland, Garrett County, MD. When Dougal was age 38 and Matilda Woodrow "Woodie" McDowell was age 32 they became the parents of Edgar Mayo Tabb September 4, 1867 in Romney, Hampshire County, WV. When Dougal was age 43 and Matilda Woodrow "Woodie" McDowell was age 37 they became the parents of Woodrow Campbell Tabb January 31, 1873 in Romney, Hampshire County, WV.
