2. John Tabb² Janney (Israel R.¹) was born March 1, 1832. John died April 9, 1919 in Martinsburg, Berkeley County, WV, at age 87. His body was interred April 1919 in Martinsburg, WV, Green Hill Cemetery.

He married Mary Wilkerson Tabb December 16, 1856. Mary was born July 24, 1836. Mary was the daughter of Bailey Tabb and Sarah Ann Campbell. Mary died July 31, 1896 at age 60. Her body was interred 1896 in Martinsburg, Berkeley County, WV, Green Hill Cemetery. When Mary was age 21 and John Tabb Janney was age 25 they became the parents of George Campbell Janney January 14, 1858. When Mary was age 23 and John Tabb Janney was age 27 they became the parents of Fannie Brown Janney January 11, 1860. When Mary was age 26 and John Tabb Janney was age 30 they became the parents of Dr. Henry "Harry" Lee Janney February 17, 1863. When Mary was age 29 and John Tabb Janney was age 33 they became the parents of Edgar Duff Janney October 11, 1865. When Mary was age 30 and John Tabb Janney was age 34 they became the parents of Peyton Randolph Janney November 17, 1866. When Mary was age 38 and John Tabb Janney was age 43 they became the parents of John Tabb Janney Jr. June 22, 1875. When Mary was age 41 and John Tabb Janney was age 45 they became the parents of James McSherry Janney August 16, 1877.

When John was age 25 and Mary Wilkerson Tabb was age 21 they became the parents of George Campbell Janney January 14, 1858. When John was age 27 and Mary Wilkerson Tabb was age 23 they became the parents of Fannie Brown Janney January 11, 1860. When John was age 30 and Mary Wilkerson Tabb was age 26 they became the parents of Dr. Henry "Harry" Lee Janney February 17, 1863. When John was age 33 and Mary Wilkerson Tabb was age 29 they became the parents of Edgar Duff Janney October 11, 1865. When John was age 34 and Mary Wilkerson Tabb was age 30 they became the parents of Peyton Randolph Janney November 17, 1866. When John was age 43 and Mary Wilkerson Tabb was age 38 they became the parents of John Tabb Janney Jr. June 22, 1875. When John was age 45 and Mary Wilkerson Tabb was age 41 they became the parents of James McSherry Janney August 16, 1877.

John Tabb Janney and Mary Wilkerson Tabb had the following children:

+ 3 i. George Campbell³ Janney was born January 14, 1858.

4 ii. Fannie Brown Janney was born January 11, 1860. Fannie died October 26, 1864 at age 4. Her body was interred in Berkeley County, WV, Tuscarora Presb. Church.

5 iii. Dr. Henry "Harry" Lee Janney was born February 17, 1863. Henry died April 8, 1897 at age 34. He married Nellie Zuhrmulhen 1896.

6 iv. Edgar Duff Janney was born October 11, 1865. Edgar died July 11, 1881 at age 15. His body was interred July 1881 in Martinsburg, Berkeley County, WV, Green Hill Cemetery.

+ 7 v. Peyton Randolph Janney was born November 17, 1866.

8 vi. John Tabb Janney Jr. was born June 22, 1875. John died 1964 at age 89. His body was interred 1964 in Martinsburg, Berkeley County, WV, Green Hill Cemetery.

+ 9 vii. James McSherry Janney was born August 16, 1877.
