He married Martha Ann Stokes April 16, 1868 in Indianapolis, IN. Martha was born April 19, 1847 in Preston, OH. Martha died April 4, 1925 in Hamilton County, OH, at age 77. When Martha was age 22 and Jerome Place Marvin was age 23 they became the parents of Mabel Marvin June 4, 1869 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, OH.

When Jerome was age 23 and Martha Ann Stokes was age 22 they became the parents of Mabel Marvin June 4, 1869 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, OH.

Jerome Place Marvin and Martha Ann Stokes had the following child:

2 i. Mabel² Marvin was born in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, OH June 4, 1869. She married Scott Pierce November 26, 1891. Scott was born January 18, 1866 in Sparkville, PA. Scott was the son of Jonas James Pierce and Kate Pritzel. When Scott was age 27 and Mabel Marvin was age 24 they became the parents of Marvin Pierce June 17, 1893 in Sharpsville, PA.
