1. Jacob Newton¹ Lonas Sr. was born in Shenandoah County, VA about 1780. Jacob died May 4, 1863 in Fairfield County, Richland Township, OH, at age 82.

He married Elizabeth Drum October 2, 1801 in Shenandoah County, VA. Elizabeth was born about 1782 in Loudoun County, VA. Elizabeth died December 5, 1853 in Fairfield County, Richland Township, OH, at age 71. When Elizabeth was age 30 and Jacob Newton Lonas Sr. was age 32 they became the parents of Sarah Ann Lonas August 15, 1812 in Fairfield Richland Rushville, OH.

When Jacob was age 32 and Elizabeth Drum was age 30 they became the parents of Sarah Ann Lonas August 15, 1812 in Fairfield Richland Rushville, OH.

Jacob Newton Lonas Sr. and Elizabeth Drum had the following child:

2 i. Sarah Ann² Lonas was born in Fairfield Richland Rushville, OH August 15, 1812. Sarah died July 18, 1899 in Jackson Township, Allen County, OH, at age 86. She married twice. She married Samuel Snider June 17, 1830 in Fairfield County, OH. Samuel died about March 25, 1848 in Allen County, OH, at age unknown. When Samuel was age unknown and Sarah Ann Lonas was age 33 they became the parents of Delilah Ann Snider July 22, 1846 in Perry, Fairfield County, OH. (See Samuel Snider for the continuation of this line.) She married Moses Grubb September 8, 1850. Moses was born August 17, 1804 in Delaware. When Moses was age 47 and Sarah Ann Lonas was age 39 they became the parents of Albert Grubb September 11, 1851. When Moses was age 49 and Sarah Ann Lonas was age 41 they became the parents of Samantha Grubb December 19, 1853. When Moses was age 52 and Sarah Ann Lonas was age 44 they became the parents of Sarah Elisabeth Grubb October 17, 1856 in Lima, OH. (See Moses Grubb for the continuation of this line.)

When Sarah was age 33 and Samuel Snider was age unknown they became the parents of Delilah Ann Snider July 22, 1846 in Perry, Fairfield County, OH. When Sarah was age 39 and Moses Grubb was age 47 they became the parents of Albert Grubb September 11, 1851. When Sarah was age 41 and Moses Grubb was age 49 they became the parents of Samantha Grubb December 19, 1853. When Sarah was age 44 and Moses Grubb was age 52 they became the parents of Sarah Elisabeth Grubb October 17, 1856 in Lima, OH.
