48. Hyman⁴ Pearlstine (Isaac Moses³, Tanchum "Thomas"², Abraham¹) was born in Forsythe, GA March 19, 1870. Hyman died January 30, 1934 in Charleston, SC, at age 63.

He married twice. He married Sally "Sara" Hyams date unknown. Sally was born December 30, 1849 in New York, NY. Sally was the daughter of Samuel Hyams and Rachel Vineburg. Sally died June 25, 1875 in New York, NY, at age 25. When Sally was age 25 and Isaac Moses Pearlstine was age 30 they became the parents of Flora S. Pearlstine May 2, 1875 in South Carolina. He married Esther "Edie" Strauss 1897. Esther was born August 3, 1874 in Florence, SC. Esther was the daughter of Alfred Abraham Strauss and Amelia Weinberg. Esther died May 12, 1948 in Charleston, SC, at age 73. When Esther was age 23 and Hyman Pearlstine was age 27 they became the parents of Edwin Strauss Pearlstine March 7, 1898 in Charleston, SC. When Esther was age 24 and Hyman Pearlstine was age 29 they became the parents of Milton Alfred Pearlstine July 15, 1899 in Mayesville, SC. When Esther was age 28 and Hyman Pearlstine was age 33 they became the parents of Mary Amelia Pearlstine 1903.

When Hyman was age 27 and Esther "Edie" Strauss was age 23 they became the parents of Edwin Strauss Pearlstine March 7, 1898 in Charleston, SC. When Hyman was age 29 and Esther "Edie" Strauss was age 24 they became the parents of Milton Alfred Pearlstine July 15, 1899 in Mayesville, SC. When Hyman was age 33 and Esther "Edie" Strauss was age 28 they became the parents of Mary Amelia Pearlstine 1903.

Hyman Pearlstine and Esther "Edie" Strauss had the following children:

+ 86 i. Edwin Strauss⁵ Pearlstine was born March 7, 1898.

+ 87 ii. Milton Alfred Pearlstine was born July 15, 1899.

88 iii. Mary Amelia Pearlstine was born 1903. Mary died 1975 at age 72. She married John Klein Hornik August 26, 1935. John was born 1905. John was the son of Morris Hornik and Rebe Klein. John died 1960 at age 55. When John was age 33 and Mary Amelia Pearlstine was age 35 they became the parents of John Klein Hornik Jr. 1938. (See John Klein Hornik for the continuation of this line.)

When Mary was age 35 and John Klein Hornik was age 33 they became the parents of John Klein Hornik Jr. 1938.
