He married twice. He married Jean Rosenbloom date unknown. Jean was born about December 1899 in England. Jean was the daughter of Abraham Rosenbloom and Bessie Mirviss. When Jean was age 16 and Jacob (Yakov) Mirviss was age 17 they became the parents of Phillis Mirviss 1916. When Jean was age 17 and Jacob (Yakov) Mirviss was age 18 they became the parents of Evelyn Blanche Mirviss June 23, 1917 in New York, NY. Born in England, she immigrated to the U.S. before her father and mother.
He married Lilian Margolin date unknown. Lilian was born 1902. Lilian died 1985 at age 83. When Lilian was age 27 and Jacob (Yakov) Mirviss was age 30 they became the parents of Judith Mirviss 1929. In 1954 moved to Athen, OH, Director, Hillel House, at University. In 1963, received MA in Physical Education, from Univ. At age 68, made aliya with wife and daughter Carmel and her family. Lived for 34 years in Kibbutz Urim, DN Negev 85530, Israel. Tel: 07-992-0426. Social Group Worker, in Jewish Community Centers. Was Director of the Hillel Foundation at the Univ. of Ohio when he retired in 1967 and immigrated to Israel, to join his daughter and her family.

Howard was born August 18, 1913 in Duluth, MN. Howard was the son of Herman Yessne and Susan Shapiro.
Howard died January 16, 1990 in Greensboro, VT, at age 76. When Howard was age 29 and Evelyn Blanche Mirviss was
age 25 they became the parents of Peter Yessne October 11, 1942 in St. Paul, MN. When Howard was age 32 and Evelyn
Blanche Mirviss was age 28 they became the parents of Dinah Yessne November 8, 1945 in St. Paul, MN. (See Howard "Bud" Palmer Yessne for the continuation of this line.)
