Francis Louis "Mike" Layden and Jane Elizabeth Hvitfeldt had the following children:

2 i. Susan Jane² Layden was born March 3, 1940. Susan died September 17, 1995 in Indianapolis, IN, at age 55. She married William Stanley Garner March 5, 1966. William was born November 23, 1912 in Indianapolis, IN. William was the son of William Garner and Sylvia Pearl Connor. William died August 20, 1998 in Indianapolis, IN, at age 85. When William was age 55 and Susan Jane Layden was age 28 they became the parents of Elizabeth Ann Garner April 25, 1968 in Indianapolis, IN. When William was age 56 and Susan Jane Layden was age 28 they became the parents of Steven Alan Garner February 19, 1969 in Indianapolis, IN. (See William Stanley Garner for the continuation of this line.)

When Susan was age 28 and William Stanley Garner was age 55 they became the parents of Elizabeth Ann Garner April 25, 1968 in Indianapolis, IN. When Susan was age 28 and William Stanley Garner was age 56 they became the parents of Steven Alan Garner February 19, 1969 in Indianapolis, IN.
