1. Jakob Peder¹ Christiansen was born in Denmark September 29, 1853. Jakob died March 13, 1918 in Port Clinton, OH, at age 64.

He married twice. He married Ane Kjestine Jensen September 29, 1875. Ane was born April 3, 1857. When Ane was age 19 and Jakob Peder Christiansen was age 22 they became the parents of Katrine Karoline Christiansen August 28, 1876 in Ohio. When Ane was age 21 and Jakob Peder Christiansen was age 25 they became the parents of Christian Peder Christiansen October 22, 1878 in Ohio. When Ane was age 24 and Jakob Peder Christiansen was age 27 they became the parents of Maria Bergitte Christiansen September 26, 1881. When Ane was age 26 and Jakob Peder Christiansen was age 30 they became the parents of Cora (Carrie) Christiansen October 26, 1883. He married Anna Marie Pedersen Segaard April 17, 1886 in Port Clinton, OH. Anna was born August 5, 1860 in Denmark. Anna was the daughter of Jens Nielsen Pedersen (Segaard) and Ane Marie Segaard. Anna died 1947 in Port Clinton, OH, at age 86. When Anna was age 26 and Jakob Peder Christiansen was age 33 they became the parents of Anna Marie Christiansen March 27, 1887. When Anna was age 27 and Jakob Peder Christiansen was age 34 they became the parents of Janet Margerat "Jenny" "Gaga" Christiansen April 5, 1888 in Port Clinton, OH. When Anna was age 29 and Jakob Peder Christiansen was age 36 they became the parents of Arthur Christian Christiansen May 28, 1890. When Anna was age 34 and Jakob Peder Christiansen was age 41 they became the parents of Amanda Christiansen 1895. Changed name to Anna after coming to U.S. Her brother stayed in Denmark and was a postmaster in his hometown; he would send (news?) paper from Denmark to Ane Marie, and at Christmas he would send jars of Danish herring and eels.

When Jakob was age 22 and Ane Kjestine Jensen was age 19 they became the parents of Katrine Karoline Christiansen August 28, 1876 in Ohio. When Jakob was age 25 and Ane Kjestine Jensen was age 21 they became the parents of Christian Peder Christiansen October 22, 1878 in Ohio. When Jakob was age 27 and Ane Kjestine Jensen was age 24 they became the parents of Maria Bergitte Christiansen September 26, 1881. When Jakob was age 30 and Ane Kjestine Jensen was age 26 they became the parents of Cora (Carrie) Christiansen October 26, 1883. When Jakob was age 33 and Anna Marie Pedersen Segaard was age 26 they became the parents of Anna Marie Christiansen March 27, 1887. When Jakob was age 34 and Anna Marie Pedersen Segaard was age 27 they became the parents of Janet Margerat "Jenny" "Gaga" Christiansen April 5, 1888 in Port Clinton, OH. When Jakob was age 36 and Anna Marie Pedersen Segaard was age 29 they became the parents of Arthur Christian Christiansen May 28, 1890. When Jakob was age 41 and Anna Marie Pedersen Segaard was age 34 they became the parents of Amanda Christiansen 1895. People often nicknamed him "Five Finger Jake". Died when he was riding into Port Clinton with his horse and buggy to pick Harry Ascher up from school. At the "Bath House Crossing" one half mile west of Port Clinton, he waited at the railroad tracks for a train to pass before he started crossing. It was raining and there was a heavy fog, so he didn't see or hear that there was a second fast passenger train behind the first train. It was the second train that hit him. Signals were installed at the crossing about six months later.

2 i. Katrine Karoline² Christiansen was born in Ohio August 28, 1876. Katrine died November 1, 1955 at age 79. Her body was interred in Racine, WI, Mound Cemetery. She married Peter Rasmussen August 21, 1895. Peter was born August 21, 1871. Peter died January 29, 1946 in Racine, WI, at age 74. When Peter was age 25 and Katrine Karoline Christiansen was age 20 they became the parents of Carl Jacob Rasmussen January 16, 1897. When Peter was age 27 and Katrine Karoline Christiansen was age 22 they became the parents of Andrew Ralph Rasmussen October 10, 1898. When Peter was age 28 and Katrine Karoline Christiansen was age 23 they became the parents of Harold Christian Rasmussen September 18, 1899. When Peter was age 30 and Katrine Karoline Christiansen was age 25 they became the parents of Dorothy Alice Rasmussen February 28, 1902. When Peter was age 32 and Katrine Karoline Christiansen was age 27 they became the parents of Irene Anna Rasmussen March 16, 1904. When Peter was age 36 and Katrine Karoline Christiansen was age 31 they became the parents of Carl Jacob Rasmussen September 29, 1907. (See Peter Rasmussen for the continuation of this line.)

When Katrine was age 20 and Peter Rasmussen was age 25 they became the parents of Carl Jacob Rasmussen January 16, 1897. When Katrine was age 22 and Peter Rasmussen was age 27 they became the parents of Andrew Ralph Rasmussen October 10, 1898. When Katrine was age 23 and Peter Rasmussen was age 28 they became the parents of Harold Christian Rasmussen September 18, 1899. When Katrine was age 25 and Peter Rasmussen was age 30 they became the parents of Dorothy Alice Rasmussen February 28, 1902. When Katrine was age 27 and Peter Rasmussen was age 32 they became the parents of Irene Anna Rasmussen March 16, 1904. When Katrine was age 31 and Peter Rasmussen was age 36 they became the parents of Carl Jacob Rasmussen September 29, 1907.

3 ii. Christian Peder Christiansen was born in Ohio October 22, 1878. Christian died date unknown in Alaska, at age unknown. Never married. Left home and wandered out west.

4 iii. Maria Bergitte Christiansen was born September 26, 1881. She married Thomas Smith date unknown. (See Thomas Smith for the continuation of this line.) Lived in Racine, WI and moved to Cleveland, OH in the 1920's.

5 iv. Cora (Carrie) Christiansen was born October 26, 1883. Cora died May 19, 1970 at age 86. Her body was interred in Toledo, Lucas County, OH, Toledo Memorial Park. She married three times. She married Charles Goebel date unknown. (See Charles Goebel for the continuation of this line.) She married William Pratt date unknown. She married Walter Ellithorpe April 17, 1886.

6 v. Anna Marie Christiansen was born March 27, 1887. Anna died April 16, 1967 in Port Clinton, OH, at age 80. Her body was interred in Port Clinton, OH, Lakeview Cemetery. She married Thomas Hurrell III date unknown. Thomas was born 1874. Thomas died 1926 at age 52. His body was interred in Port Clinton, OH, Lakeview Cemetery. When Thomas was age 34 and Anna Marie Christiansen was age 22 they became the parents of Thomas A. Hurrell IV April 8, 1909. When Thomas was age 36 and Anna Marie Christiansen was age 23 they became the parents of George Leonard Hurrell September 20, 1910. When Thomas was age 37 and Anna Marie Christiansen was age 24 they became the parents of James S. Hurrell November 5, 1911. When Anna was age 22 and Thomas Hurrell III was age 34 they became the parents of Thomas A. Hurrell IV April 8, 1909. When Anna was age 23 and Thomas Hurrell III was age 36 they became the parents of George Leonard Hurrell September 20, 1910. When Anna was age 24 and Thomas Hurrell III was age 37 they became the parents of James S. Hurrell November 5, 1911. When Anna was age 26 and Thomas Hurrell III was age 39 they became the parents of Alice Sophia Hurrell September 3, 1913.

7 vi. Janet Margerat "Jenny" "Gaga" Christiansen was born in Port Clinton, OH April 5, 1888. Janet died January 6, 1978 in Apple Valley, CA, at age 89. She married Solomon Simon Ascher August 1, 1916 in Monroe, MI. Solomon was born December 13, 1879 in Michigan. Solomon was the son of Simon A. Ascher and Bertha Lewyn. Solomon died April 29, 1935 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH, at age 55.

When Janet was age 19 and Solomon Simon Ascher was age 27 they became the parents of Harry Arthur Court (Ascher) October 25, 1907 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH. When Janet was age 33 and Solomon Simon Ascher was age 41 they became the parents of "Lewyn" Bertha Lewyn Ascher August 24, 1921 in Port Clinton, OH. When Janet was age 35 and Solomon Simon Ascher was age 44 they became the parents of Ernestine Louise Ascher February 10, 1924 in Port Clinton, OH. She was cremated January 7, 1978 in Victorville, CA.

+ 8 vii. Arthur Christian Christiansen was born May 28, 1890.

9 viii. Amanda Christiansen was born 1895. Amanda died 1913 in Port Clinton, OH, at age 18. Her body was interred in Port Clinton, OH, Lakeview Cemetery.
