Bertha died 1928 in Greensboro, NC, at age 53. When Bertha was age 26 and Emanuel Sternberger was age unknown they became the parents of Blanche Sternberger May 15, 1901 in Mayesville, SC. When Bertha was age 32 and Emanuel Sternberger was age unknown they became the parents of Emelia Sternberger May 13, 1907 in Mayesville, SC.

When Emanuel was age unknown and Bertha Strauss was age 26 they became the parents of Blanche Sternberger May 15, 1901 in Mayesville, SC. When Emanuel was age unknown and Bertha Strauss was age 32 they became the parents of Emelia Sternberger May 13, 1907 in Mayesville, SC.

Emanuel Sternberger and Bertha Strauss had the following children:

2 i. Blanche² Sternberger was born in Mayesville, SC May 15, 1901. Blanche died 1995 at age 94. She married Edward Bernard Benjamin 1921. Edward was born November 18, 1897 in Little Rock, AR. Edward died March 16, 1979 in New Orleans, LA, at age 81. When Edward was age 25 and Blanche Sternberger was age 22 they became the parents of Edward Bernard Benjamin Jr. 1923. When Blanche was age 22 and Edward Bernard Benjamin was age 25 they became the parents of Edward Bernard Benjamin Jr. 1923.

3 ii. Emelia Sternberger was born in Mayesville, SC May 13, 1907. Emelia died about 1929 in Paris, France, at age unknown.
