1. John Earnshaw¹ Leard was born August 15, 1916. John died February 23, 2003 at age 86.

He married Hazel Turner September 28, 1940. Hazel was born January 4, 1919 in Danielson, CT. Hazel was the daughter of Horace Franklin Turner and Elsie Lowe. Hazel died December 8, 1993 in Richmond, VA, at age 74. When Hazel was age 24 and John Earnshaw Leard was age 27 they became the parents of Linda Earnshaw Leard September 24, 1943 in Boston, Suffolk County, MA. When Hazel was age 27 and John Earnshaw Leard was age 29 they became the parents of Judith Alden Leard March 15, 1946 in Boston, Suffolk County, MA.

When John was age 27 and Hazel Turner was age 24 they became the parents of Linda Earnshaw Leard September 24, 1943 in Boston, Suffolk County, MA. When John was age 29 and Hazel Turner was age 27 they became the parents of Judith Alden Leard March 15, 1946 in Boston, Suffolk County, MA.

John Earnshaw Leard and Hazel Turner had the following children:
