16. Samuel⁴ Weinberg (Bendix "Benedict" Abraham³, Abraham Aron², Samuel Bendix¹ Levi) was born in Charleston, SC January 21, 1861. Samuel died August 29, 1955 in Sumter, SC, at age 94.

He married Kate Hirschman February 9, 1892 in Charleston, SC. Kate was born October 26, 1871. Kate was the daughter of Solomon Hirschman. Kate died April 5, 1951 at age 79. When Kate was age 21 and Samuel Weinberg was age 31 they became the parents of Bertrand Alford Weinberg November 8, 1892. When Kate was age 22 and Samuel Weinberg was age 33 they became the parents of Frances Helena Weinberg February 23, 1894 in Wedgefield, SC. When Kate was age 24 and Samuel Weinberg was age 35 they became the parents of Meyer Mortimer Weinberg February 12, 1896 in Gaffney, SC. When Kate was age 26 and Samuel Weinberg was age 37 they became the parents of Henry Jerome Weinberg 1898. When Kate was age 28 and Samuel Weinberg was age 38 they became the parents of Rose Henrietta Weinberg October 28, 1899 in Wedgefield, SC.

When Samuel was age 31 and Kate Hirschman was age 21 they became the parents of Bertrand Alford Weinberg November 8, 1892. When Samuel was age 33 and Kate Hirschman was age 22 they became the parents of Frances Helena Weinberg February 23, 1894 in Wedgefield, SC. When Samuel was age 35 and Kate Hirschman was age 24 they became the parents of Meyer Mortimer Weinberg February 12, 1896 in Gaffney, SC. When Samuel was age 37 and Kate Hirschman was age 26 they became the parents of Henry Jerome Weinberg 1898. When Samuel was age 38 and Kate Hirschman was age 28 they became the parents of Rose Henrietta Weinberg October 28, 1899 in Wedgefield, SC.

Samuel Weinberg and Kate Hirschman had the following children:

+ 51 i. Bertrand Alford⁵ Weinberg was born November 8, 1892.

52 ii. Frances Helena Weinberg was born in Wedgefield, SC February 23, 1894. Frances died October 27, 1973 at age 79. She married Peter Dwight date unknown. Peter was born October 28, 1892 in Wedgefield, SC. Peter died February 15, 1970 at age 77.

+ 53 iii. Meyer Mortimer Weinberg was born February 12, 1896.

+ 54 iv. Henry Jerome Weinberg was born 1898.

55 v. Rose Henrietta Weinberg was born in Wedgefield, SC October 28, 1899. Rose died October 13, 1959 at age 59. She married Samuel Edmunds Cooper circa 1917. Samuel was born October 22, 1886. Samuel died July 3, 1929 at age 42. When Samuel was age 33 and Rose Henrietta Weinberg was age 20 they became the parents of Frances Ann Cooper March 1920 in Columbia, SC. When Samuel was age 35 and Rose Henrietta Weinberg was age 22 they became the parents of Samuel Weinberg Cooper October 1922 in Columbia, SC. When Rose was age 20 and Samuel Edmunds Cooper was age 33 they became the parents of Frances Ann Cooper March 1920 in Columbia, SC. When Rose was age 22 and Samuel Edmunds Cooper was age 35 they became the parents of Samuel Weinberg Cooper October 1922 in Columbia, SC.
