He married Rose Henrietta Weinberg circa 1917. Rose was born October 28, 1899 in Wedgefield, SC. Rose was the daughter of Samuel Weinberg and Kate Hirschman. Rose died October 13, 1959 at age 59. When Rose was age 20 and Samuel Edmunds Cooper was age 33 they became the parents of Frances Ann Cooper March 1920 in Columbia, SC. When Rose was age 22 and Samuel Edmunds Cooper was age 35 they became the parents of Samuel Weinberg Cooper October 1922 in Columbia, SC.

When Samuel was age 33 and Rose Henrietta Weinberg was age 20 they became the parents of Frances Ann Cooper March 1920 in Columbia, SC. When Samuel was age 35 and Rose Henrietta Weinberg was age 22 they became the parents of Samuel Weinberg Cooper October 1922 in Columbia, SC.

Samuel Edmunds Cooper and Rose Henrietta Weinberg had the following children:
