He married Fanny Weinberg April 6, 1910. Fanny was born January 22, 1883 in Darlington, SC. Fanny was the daughter of Abram Weinberg and Rosa Iseman. Fanny died July 28, 1967 at age 84. When Fanny was age 33 and Samuel Want was age 27 they became the parents of Leroy Manuel Want June 14, 1916 in Walterboro, SC.
