He married Sarah Johnson about 1720 in Cumberland, NJ. Sarah was born 1697 in Cumberland, NJ. Sarah died June 16, 1761 in Hopewell, Cumberland, NJ, at age 63. When Sarah was age unknown and Samuel Harris was age unknown they became the parents of Silas Harris Sr. about 1737 in New Jersey.
