He married Nancy Lucy Harris January 6, 1869 in Clark, IL. Nancy was born 1847 in Miami, OH. Nancy was the daughter of Meeker Harris and Sarah Ann Byers. Nancy died after 1880 at age unknown. When Nancy was age 28 and Maston Gilbert "Mat" Maxwell was age 36 they became the parents of Mary "Mayme" "Mae" Maxwell November 23, 1875 in Martinsville, Clark, IL.

When Maston was age 36 and Nancy Lucy Harris was age 28 they became the parents of Mary "Mayme" "Mae" Maxwell November 23, 1875 in Martinsville, Clark, IL.

Maston Gilbert "Mat" Maxwell and Nancy Lucy Harris had the following child:

2 i. Mary "Mayme" "Mae"² Maxwell was born in Martinsville, Clark, IL November 23, 1875. Mary died October 10, 1908 in Fairbanks, Sullivan, IN, at age 32. She married Perry "Greely" "Ted" Bosstick May 6, 1893 in Paris, Edgar, IL. Perry was born April 17, 1872 in Fairbanks, Sullivan, IN. Perry died July 9, 1939 in Paris, Edgar, IL, at age 67. When Perry was age 32 and Mary "Mayme" "Mae" Maxwell was age 29 they became the parents of Allene Rose Bosstick March 8, 1905 in Fairbanks, Sullivan, IN. When Mary was age 29 and Perry "Greely" "Ted" Bosstick was age 32 they became the parents of Allene Rose Bosstick March 8, 1905 in Fairbanks, Sullivan, IN.
