He married Emma Marie Warner date unknown. Emma was born 1911. Emma was the daughter of Robert Warner and Josephine Weis. Emma died August 5, 1965 in Port Clinton, OH, at age 54. Her body was interred in Port Clinton, OH, Riverview Cemetery. When Emma was age 32 and George Leonard Hurrell was age 33 they became the parents of Ann Marie Hurrell November 1, 1943. When Emma was age 37 and George Leonard Hurrell was age 37 they became the parents of George Leonard Hurrell II September 19, 1948.

When George was age 33 and Emma Marie Warner was age 32 they became the parents of Ann Marie Hurrell November 1, 1943. When George was age 37 and Emma Marie Warner was age 37 they became the parents of George Leonard Hurrell II September 19, 1948.

George Leonard Hurrell and Emma Marie Warner had the following children:
