4. Abel⁴ Chase (Thomas³, Thomas², Aquila¹) was born in Newbury, Essex, MA February 25, 1702/02. Abel died Januarry 1778 in Sutton, Worcester, MA, at age 74.

He married Sarah Holman March 23, 1729/30 in Newbury, Essex, MA. Sarah was born May 8, 1713 in West Newbury, Essex, MA. Sarah was the daughter of Solomon Holman and Mary Barton. When Sarah was age 28 and Abel Chase was age 39 they became the parents of Mary Chase March 15, 1741/42 in Sutton, Worcester, MA.

When Abel was age 39 and Sarah Holman was age 28 they became the parents of Mary Chase March 15, 1741/42 in Sutton, Worcester, MA.

Abel Chase and Sarah Holman had the following child:

5 i. Mary⁵ Chase was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA March 15, 1741/42. Mary died September 18, 1813 in Stratton, Windham, VT, at age 71. She married Ebenezer Sibley date unknown. Ebenezer was born October 1745 in Sutton, Merrimack, NH. When Ebenezer was age 29 and Mary Chase was age 32 they became the parents of Lucy Sibley March 2, 1775 in Sutton, Worcester, MA.
