He married Elizabeth Shaw May 29, 1866 in England. Elizabeth was born October 10, 1842. Elizabeth was the daughter of George Shaw and Susannah. Elizabeth died May 16, 1922 in Omaha, NE, at age 79. She was baptized November 20, 1842 in Frampton, England. When Elizabeth was age 25 and John Cecil Mark Pilley was age 24 they became the parents of John George Cecil Pilley January 6, 1868 in Frampton, England. When Elizabeth was age 26 and John Cecil Mark Pilley was age 26 they became the parents of Sarah Pilley June 1, 1869 in Frampton, England. When Elizabeth was age 28 and John Cecil Mark Pilley was age 28 they became the parents of Arthur Pilley July 6, 1871 in Frampton, England. When Elizabeth was age 31 and John Cecil Mark Pilley was age 30 they became the parents of Elizabeth Mayfield "Lizzie" Pilley December 8, 1873 in Lincoln, NE. When Elizabeth was age 33 and John Cecil Mark Pilley was age 33 they became the parents of Frank E. Pilley July 21, 1876 in Lincoln, NE. When Elizabeth was age 36 and John Cecil Mark Pilley was age 35 they became the parents of Alice Maude Mary Pilley December 28, 1878 in Lincoln, NE. When Elizabeth was age 39 and John Cecil Mark Pilley was age 39 they became the parents of Thomas Pilley May 7, 1882 in Lincoln, NE. When Elizabeth was age 41 and John Cecil Mark Pilley was age 40 they became the parents of Anna Pilley April 17, 1884 in Blue Springs, NE. When Elizabeth was age 45 and John Cecil Mark Pilley was age 44 they became the parents of Ernest Alfred "James Ernest" Pilley January 3, 1888 in Wymore, NE.

When John was age 24 and Elizabeth Shaw was age 25 they became the parents of John George Cecil Pilley January 6, 1868 in Frampton, England. When John was age 26 and Elizabeth Shaw was age 26 they became the parents of Sarah Pilley June 1, 1869 in Frampton, England. When John was age 28 and Elizabeth Shaw was age 28 they became the parents of Arthur Pilley July 6, 1871 in Frampton, England. When John was age 30 and Elizabeth Shaw was age 31 they became the parents of Elizabeth Mayfield "Lizzie" Pilley December 8, 1873 in Lincoln, NE. When John was age 33 and Elizabeth Shaw was age 33 they became the parents of Frank E. Pilley July 21, 1876 in Lincoln, NE. When John was age 35 and Elizabeth Shaw was age 36 they became the parents of Alice Maude Mary Pilley December 28, 1878 in Lincoln, NE. When John was age 39 and Elizabeth Shaw was age 39 they became the parents of Thomas Pilley May 7, 1882 in Lincoln, NE. When John was age 40 and Elizabeth Shaw was age 41 they became the parents of Anna Pilley April 17, 1884 in Blue Springs, NE. When John was age 44 and Elizabeth Shaw was age 45 they became the parents of Ernest Alfred "James Ernest" Pilley January 3, 1888 in Wymore, NE.

4 iii. Arthur Pilley was born in Frampton, England July 6, 1871. Arthur died November 27, 1945 in Norfolk, NE, at age 74. His body was interred in Omaha, NE, West Lawn Cemetery.

5 iv. Elizabeth Mayfield "Lizzie" Pilley was born in Lincoln, NE December 8, 1873. Elizabeth died August 23, 1921 in Waco, NE, at age 47. She married George Owens March 11, 1903 in Thayer, NE. George was born January 1, 1862 in Madison, WI. George died May 25, 1951 at age 89. When George was age 44 and Elizabeth Mayfield "Lizzie" Pilley was age 32 they became the parents of Blanche Owens September 10, 1906 in Waco, NE. 7 vi. Alice Maude Mary Pilley was born in Lincoln, NE December 28, 1878. Alice died July 14, 1968 in Long Beach, CA, at age 89. She married Archie Guy Scott March 11, 1903 in Thayer, NE. Archie was born March 14, 1876. Archie died January 15, 1938 in Omaha, NE, at age 61. When Archie was age 28 and Alice Maude Mary Pilley was age 25 they became the parents of Roland Archie Scott March 14, 1904 in Omaha, NE. 9 viii. Anna Pilley was born in Blue Springs, NE April 17, 1884. Anna died August 7, 1973 in Brattleboro, VT, at age 89. She married Harry Hite May 26, 1906 in Thayer, NE. Harry was born July 22, 1883 in West Virginia. Harry was the son of Rev. Raymond Hite. Harry died March 11, 1951 in Omaha, NE, at age 67. When Harry was age 24 and Anna Pilley was age 23 they became the parents of Monnie Mae Hite November 15, 1907 in Gresham, NE. When Harry was age 27 and Anna Pilley was age 26 they became the parents of Harold Kenneth Hite August 2, 1910 in Barnes, KA. When Harry was age 37 and Anna Pilley was age 36 they became the parents of Helen Vivian Hite November 10, 1920 in Madison, NE.
