Moses was born August 15, 1826 in Bosenbach, Bavaria, Germany. Moses was the son of Jacob Loevy and Johanna Grunewald. Moses died January 26, 1899 in Sumter, SC, at age 72. His body was interred in Sumter, SC, Sumter Jewis Cemetery. Moses immigrated to destination unknown 1848. When Moses was age 27 and Hannah Jacobs was age 23 they became the parents of David Levi February 1, 1854 in Sumter, SC. When Moses was age 28 and Hannah Jacobs was age 24 they became the parents of Rosa Levi May 6, 1855 in Sumter, SC. When Moses was age 30 and Hannah Jacobs was age 26 they became the parents of Mitch Levi August 5, 1857. When Moses was age 32 and Hannah Jacobs was age 28 they became the parents of Hannah Ellen Levi June 9, 1859 in Sumter, SC. When Moses was age 35 and Hannah Jacobs was age 30 they became the parents of Ferdinand Levi October 16, 1861 in South Carolina. When Moses was age 36 and Hannah Jacobs was age 32 they became the parents of Abraham Levi July 31, 1863 in Manning, SC. When Moses was age 39 and Hannah Jacobs was age 34 they became the parents of Meyer Levi September 20, 1865. When Moses was age 40 and Hannah Jacobs was age 36 they became the parents of Louis Levi August 5, 1867.
