1. Harrison Harris "Henry" Cohen¹ Mark was born in Neumark, Bavaria, Germany December 24, 1832. Harrison died September 13, 1903 in Greenville, SC, at age 70.

He married Rachel Epstin about 1857 in Richmond, VA. Rachel was born April 12, 1841 in Poland. Rachel was the daughter of Levy Epstin and Amelia Elias. Rachel died July 23, 1917 in Buffalo, NY, at age 76. When Rachel was age 23 and Harrison Harris "Henry" Cohen Mark was age 31 they became the parents of Mitchel Henry Mark July 27, 1864 in Richmond, VA. When Rachel was age 25 and Harrison Harris "Henry" Cohen Mark was age 33 they became the parents of Minnie Mark May 30, 1866 in Oswego, NY. When Rachel was age 29 and Harrison Harris "Henry" Cohen Mark was age 37 they became the parents of Rosa Mark December 3, 1870 in Greenville, SC. When Rachel was age 31 and Harrison Harris "Henry" Cohen Mark was age 39 they became the parents of Moses "Moe" Mark July 10, 1872 in Greenville, SC.

When Harrison was age 31 and Rachel Epstin was age 23 they became the parents of Mitchel Henry Mark July 27, 1864 in Richmond, VA. When Harrison was age 33 and Rachel Epstin was age 25 they became the parents of Minnie Mark May 30, 1866 in Oswego, NY. When Harrison was age 37 and Rachel Epstin was age 29 they became the parents of Rosa Mark December 3, 1870 in Greenville, SC. When Harrison was age 39 and Rachel Epstin was age 31 they became the parents of Moses "Moe" Mark July 10, 1872 in Greenville, SC.

Harrison Harris "Henry" Cohen Mark and Rachel Epstin had the following children:

3 ii. Minnie Mark was born in Oswego, NY May 30, 1866. Minnie died November 7, 1899 in Asheville, NC, at age 33. She married Max Marcus date unknown. Max was born March 21, 1858 in Berlin, Germany. Max died October 27, 1934 in Cleveland, OH, at age 76. When Max was age 31 and Minnie Mark was age 23 they became the parents of Claude B. Marcus October 15, 1889 in Asheville, NC. When Max was age 35 and Minnie Mark was age 26 they became the parents of Omalie Marcus April 27, 1893 in Asheville, NC. (See Max Marcus for the continuation of this line.)

When Minnie was age 23 and Max Marcus was age 31 they became the parents of Claude B. Marcus October 15, 1889 in Asheville, NC. When Minnie was age 26 and Max Marcus was age 35 they became the parents of Omalie Marcus April 27, 1893 in Asheville, NC.

4 iii. Rosa Mark was born in Greenville, SC December 3, 1870. Rosa died March 9, 1957 in Albany, NY, at age 86. She married twice. She married Solo Edel date unknown. Solo was born about 1865 in Germany. Solo died before 1900 at age unknown. When Solo was age 23 and Rosa Mark was age 18 they became the parents of Harold Edel April 21, 1889 in Greenville, SC. When Solo was age 27 and Rosa Mark was age 22 they became the parents of David D. Edel January 20, 1893. When Solo was age 28 and Rosa Mark was age 22 they became the parents of Lionel Edel July 12, 1893 in Anniston, AL. (See Solo Edel for the continuation of this line.) She married William Rosenthal about 1906 in Greenville, SC. William was born 1868 in New York, NY. William died 1916 in Buffalo, NY, at age 48. When William was age 39 and Rosa Mark was age 37 they became the parents of Robert Mitchell Rosenthal December 11, 1907 in Detroit, MI. (See William Rosenthal for the continuation of this line.)

When Rosa was age 18 and Solo Edel was age 23 they became the parents of Harold Edel April 21, 1889 in Greenville, SC. When Rosa was age 22 and Solo Edel was age 27 they became the parents of David D. Edel January 20, 1893. When Rosa was age 22 and Solo Edel was age 28 they became the parents of Lionel Edel July 12, 1893 in Anniston, AL. When Rosa was age 37 and William Rosenthal was age 39 they became the parents of Robert Mitchell Rosenthal December 11, 1907 in Detroit, MI.
