1. Mordecai¹ David was born in Poland 1835. Mordecai died April 12, 1913 in Columbia, SC, at age 77.

He married Lettie Epstin about 1862 in Virginia. Lettie was born 1844 in Poland. Lettie was the daughter of Levy Epstin and Amelia Elias. Lettie died May 14, 1920 in Columbia, SC, at age 75. When Lettie was age 19 and Mordecai David was age 28 they became the parents of Aaron David 1863 in Virginia. When Lettie was age 22 and Mordecai David was age 31 they became the parents of Rachael "Rachel" David 1866 in Columbia, SC. When Lettie was age 25 and Mordecai David was age 34 they became the parents of Soloman "Sol" David 1869 in Columbia, SC. When Lettie was age 28 and Mordecai David was age 37 they became the parents of Lillie David 1872 in Columbia, SC. When Lettie was age 30 and Mordecai David was age 39 they became the parents of Virginia David 1874 in Columbia, SC. When Lettie was age 33 and Mordecai David was age 42 they became the parents of Levi H. David 1877 in Columbia, SC. When Lettie was age 35 and Mordecai David was age 44 they became the parents of Benjamin F. David 1879 in Columbia, SC.

When Mordecai was age 28 and Lettie Epstin was age 19 they became the parents of Aaron David 1863 in Virginia. When Mordecai was age 31 and Lettie Epstin was age 22 they became the parents of Rachael "Rachel" David 1866 in Columbia, SC. When Mordecai was age 34 and Lettie Epstin was age 25 they became the parents of Soloman "Sol" David 1869 in Columbia, SC. When Mordecai was age 37 and Lettie Epstin was age 28 they became the parents of Lillie David 1872 in Columbia, SC. When Mordecai was age 39 and Lettie Epstin was age 30 they became the parents of Virginia David 1874 in Columbia, SC. When Mordecai was age 42 and Lettie Epstin was age 33 they became the parents of Levi H. David 1877 in Columbia, SC. When Mordecai was age 44 and Lettie Epstin was age 35 they became the parents of Benjamin F. David 1879 in Columbia, SC.

Mordecai David and Lettie Epstin had the following children:

2 i. Aaron² David was born in Virginia 1863. Aaron died September 22, 1930 in Washington, DC, at age 67. He married Rebeckah "Rebecca" Wolff October 26, 1887 in Columbia, SC. Rebeckah was born 1855 in Columbia, SC. Rebeckah died May 31, 1913 in Columbia, SC, at age 57.

3 ii. Rachael "Rachel" David was born in Columbia, SC 1866.

4 iii. Soloman "Sol" David was born in Columbia, SC 1869. Soloman died December 17, 1933 in Columbia, SC, at age 64.

5 iv. Lillie David was born in Columbia, SC 1872. She married Leo H. Joseph about 1892. Leo was born 1861 in New York, NY.

6 v. Virginia David was born in Columbia, SC 1874. Virginia died after 1931 at age unknown. She married Harry S. Fox about 1894. Harry was born July 17, 1867 in Virginia. Harry died December 16, 1930 at age 63.

+ 7 vi. Levi H. David was born 1877.

8 vii. Benjamin F. David was born in Columbia, SC 1879. Benjamin died after 1930 in Washington, DC, at age unknown. He married Alberta Silver date unknown. Alberta was born about 1883 in Augusta, GA. Alberta died after 1930 at age unknown.
