He married Ernestine Michelsohn date unknown. Ernestine was born March 4, 1852 in Posen, Prussia. Ernestine was the daughter of Jacob Heymann Michels (Michelsohn) and Chave (Eva) Lewin. Ernestine died March 2, 1939 in Houston, TX, at age 86.
