Fayge Etta PEARLSTINE (1841-1856)

Left Trestina in fall of 1855, after Sukkoh but before Hanukah.

Reached Stavicks and Gryeevy but had to turn back until spring

(Pesach). Sailed from Liverpool England in summer of 1856 with mother

Sarah, sisters Lena, Miriam Rose, Sarah, brothers Louis C and Samuel

Wolff (sp), Louis's son --who died enroute to the ship in Berlin--,

uncle Jacob. Died at sea after eating grain laced with rat poison.

Wrapped in clean white sheet and dropped overboard, weighted by large

rocks.
